Simple steps to Hide Images, Videos and Privates files in any windows 10 or 11

When you need to hide a folder or file on your Windows 10 or 11 computer, you can use the Hides files tool to hide it. The process is quite simple and straightforward, but there are a few things you should remember. We'll show you how to hide and unhide a folder without using any tool or software.

Step 1 Open your file manager

If you are a windows user you easily know how to open file manager but if you still don't know how to do it you can simply click on widows button or windows logo in your pc then you can see a file explorer application you just have to open it.

Step 2 Select files that you want to hide

Now select any file or image that you want to hide. In my case i want to hide a video so that no another person who use this pc will see that video. You only have to follow the given simple steps

1. First select the file that you want to hide.
2. Now right click and a dialog box will open.
3. Now click on the properties tab 
4. A new window will pop up
5. Here you have to to tick the hidden option given the picture below

Now you will see the file is hidden in your pc 

Steps 3 to unhide your hidden file or folder

To unhide your selected file or folder you have to select the hidden option in your file explorer to do that you have to follow the given steps.

1. First click on the View section given at the top bar of file explorer.
2. Now click on the show option a new dialog box will open.
3. Now select the Hidden items option that will show your hidden files.

Note:- You have to uncheck the hidden items after you will done with your hidden file so that no one else can see your files.
