Corrections
We get things wrong sometimes. When we do, we fix it quickly and say what changed.

Our policy
- Factual errors (a wrong deadline, fee, threshold or calculation) are fixed as soon as they are confirmed. The page's "updated" date changes and the correction is listed below.
- Outdated information caused by a rule or price change is handled as an update: we revise the page and date the new figures.
- Typos and formatting that do not change meaning are fixed quietly, though we log them when they appear in a published article.
- We do not delete a page to hide a mistake. If a page can no longer be made accurate, we say so on the page.
How to report an error
Use the contact page or email [email protected]. Include the page link, what you think is wrong and, if you can, the official source that shows the right answer. Every report is checked against primary sources, as described in How we research.
